چکیده

We develop a closed loop subspace identification method based on stochastic realization theory. Using the preliminary orthogonal decomposition of (Picci and Katayama, 1996b) we show that, under the assumption that the exogenous input is feedback-free and persistently exciting (PE), the identification of closed loop systems is divided into two subproblems: the deterministic identification of the plant and controller, and the stochastic identification of the noise filter. Subspace methods for identifying the deterministic and stochastic parts are derived by adapting the standard subspace methods to the deterministic and stochastic components. In both cases, a model reduction procedure should be applied in order to extract controllable and observable parts from non-minimal realizations. Some numerical results are included to show the applicability of the present technique.

A New Subspace Identification Method for Closed-Loop Systems Using Measurable Disturbance

In this paper, we consider a closed-loop subspace identification problem without using probing inputs; but we assume that there is a measurable disturbance which can be used as a test input for identification. Deterministic and stochastic subsystems are derived by applying the orthogonal decomposition (ORT) of the joint input-output process and realization methods. We develop a new ORTbased clo...

Effects of integrating physical and financial flows through a closed-loop supply chain network under uncertain demand and return

The impact of financial challenges on the profit of a supply chain, have caused the researcher to model the supply chain network by considering the operational and financial dimensions. Also, the establishment of a closed loop supply chain (CLSC) network has a high effect on economic profit. So, the purpose of this study is to design a stochastic closed loop supply chain network by considering ...

An Optimization Model for Multi-objective Closed-loop Supply Chain Network under uncertainty: A Hybrid Fuzzy-stochastic Programming Method

In this research, we address the application of uncertaintyprogramming to design a multi-site, multi-product, multi-period,closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) network. In order to make theresults of this article more realistic, a CLSC for a case study inthe iron and steel industry has been explored. The presentedsupply chain covers three objective functions: maximization ofprofit, minimization of n...

Consistency analysis of some closed-loop subspace identification methods

It seems fair to say that current state-of-the-art subspace identification methods provide reliable results only when applied to plants operating in open loop. However feedback is present in a variety of practical situations (even though often one cannot directly recognize physical controllers which “close the loop”) and there is a need of reliable identification methods and algorithms which co...

Fault Detection for the Benfield Process Using a Closed-loop Subspace Re-identification Approach

Closed-loop system identification and fault detection and isolation are the two fundamental building blocks of process monitoring. Efficient and accurate process monitoring increases plant availability and utilisation. This dissertation investigates a subspace system identification and fault detection methodology for the Benfield process, used by Sasol, Synfuels in Secuda, South Africa, to remo...
